The first ad I had was on being a Product Marketing Manager. There is not a ton of specific information given on the position, but it does tell the basic requirements and what sort of employee resume they are looking for. I think there is a good amount of hype about the job in the ad to convince someone that this may be a good opportunity for them to pursue. I would find this ad pretty useful being a business major, but I would definitely need to contact to company more about more details about the job.
The second ad I read did not grab my attention as well as the first one, but it was tough competition. The second ad is about someone being the vice president of R&L Stevens and Associates. First thing about this ad would be I find it very hard to believe the company is looking for someone to be second in charge of their company from online ads. I don’t buy it. The ad has a brief explanation section about the job, but does not do a good job giving the job description. I would more than likely through this ad in the trash because it has not attention getter.
The third ad I viewed was definitely the worst one out of the three. This add had no information about the company, Uline. There were a lot of grabby little phrases on the ad trying to persuade the viewer to reach out for this job. The ad comes off as needy and not really looking for a strong employee. This makes me doubt the company is really strong and will last very long. I would want to hear from someone at the company to gain more knowledge on the job before making my decision.
