True Power of Words

I must say the most surprise sentence I read in this article was "The people are the true end; language is just a tool to reach and teach them, a means to an end." I had never thought of my words in that context. It is amazing how sticking to the basics can create an effective message. In the Marketing Strategy our document we used the message "this is a one-stop shop that is fast, easy, and convenient." This is a simple and familiar message that has been used before by other companies. It follows rule one and eight. It is a simple message that can create a visual picture. when I think of something that is a one-stop shop, I immediately think of Wal-mart and how everything is in one location. Most people like the idea of things made easier. As it is, life is too demanding to take extra time to go to several places for what you need.
When college students are trying to move from one place to another the last thing they usually do is pack up their stuff or go shopping. They are out enjoying their summer with their friends before they leave for college. Our service truly makes the process simpler and less stressful. In this time of transition, students may be afraid of leaving essentials behind or forget to buys something while their parents are there on campus. With our services students will not have to worry about having a vehicle on campus just to pick up the product.
Rule five also applies to our service because never before has anyone offered a chance to buy the dorm room furniture and look at it in a three dimensional model before they buy it. It goes along with they saying “you have to see it to believe it”. When our customers can see how things are going to look when everything is done, it allows them to believe that we are credible and we can make their expectations become a reality.
