Luntz

In the activity we did in class with the Tree House company's market analysis and strategy, I noticed that they applied some of the rules that Luntz had pointed out. First, they use a lot of numbers which represents proof that they have a very good idea of what they are doing and where they want their company to be. Their Market A & S is very easy to understand, and there is little confusion with any of the messages they are trying to get across. They seem like they have a great deal of credibility judging by all of the financial background information they provide, as well as the funds for the future. I liked their use of charts to help visualize the business and the numbers. These visual aids really helped me to better understand where they wanted their business to be. They really seem like they know what the hell they are doing, and you can tell that they want to make a career out of this. This is not just a class project to them, and this is evident in the diligence they used while creating this market analysis and strategy. Not only do they have graphs, but they have content that explains the graphs and what exactly they mean to the company and to the overall industry. We could take a lot of lessons just from reading this market analysis and strategy.
