We found this graph to be ethical for many reasons. First, we are using a simple bar graph with normal margins, so there is no deception involved in the graph at all. There is no chart junk involved with the graph, so there is nothing to clutter the reading. We didn't use picture graphs because we wanted to make sure that we didn't misrepresent our data in any way, as this would be unethical. We are not trying to "sugar-coat" anything. We tried to keep everything really simple, and tried to avoid any type of confusion. Also, we wanted to avoid putting any unnecessary information into the graph. All we wanted was the amount of money in dollars, and the companies involved. Anything besides this would of no value to the graph. It would only make things more complicated. This is why this graph is ethical.
