Writing for Entrepreneurs

Writing for Entrepreneurs

In the business world it is so competitive that you often only have one chance, one impression, or a moment to show someone you have something better to offer than the next guy. Not only do we have to sell our ideas in person, but we must also be able to do it on paper. You never know when you're going to get a chance to break into the market you're trying to target and one day it might very well be on paper. With all of the new technological tools coming out it has never been easier to access someone's work. And it is everyone's responsibility to take advantage of their voice and the power to make the most of it.

I would personally like to someday open an orphanage in Nicaragua. I know that running a non-profit organization is the same as running a for-profit company. You have to have all the same factors of production including of course financial capital. So this class is absolutely imperative to my future goals. I not only need to put together a detailed business plan on how I will run the orphanage, but I need to persuade investors that I will legitimately do what I say and that this organization will benefit so many in the future. I expect this class to be very challenging and the first step to accomplishing my goals. This will also help me in my professional career. To understand the true power of words will help me to reach my fullest potential in whatever career path I choose. I want to be able to think for myself rather than regurgitating corporate lingo. We as future managers will have to think creatively and independently to solve tomorrow’s problems.

Totally Agree

I completely understand what you mean by the non profit organization is the same as running a for-profit company and how it is requires a lot of persuasion to get investors. In no way is it an easy task and I am almost certain and hoping that this course can get us entrepreneurs on the right track
