Documentation Project

The documentation project consists of four total parts:

  1. A weekly record of individual contribution
  2. Individual contribution document
  3. Collaborative evaluation
  4. A letter addressed to me detailing what you have learned in the class as a whole

 1. Weekly Record

Using any format you feel is appropriate (memo, chart, bulleted list, etc.) detail the following for each week of the group projects:

  • Meeting minutes
  • Your contribution to group deliverables for that week

2.  Individual Contribution Document

This document should be a memo in which you explain your contribution to the        group, group progress, group deliverables, and group meetings. Your document must:

  • Be in memo format
  • Addressed to Catherine A. Shuler
  • Contain a line for each group member signature
  • Be distributed to other group members
  • Be turned in by your group members with their documentation project

3.  Group Collaboration Evaluation

This should be another memo in which you list each group member by name and note the following:

  • Their contribution to the group
  • The grade that you feel they deserve for each of the major projects

4.  Professional Letter to Catherine A. Shuler

This document should be a record of what you learned in the class and a persuasive recommendation regarding the grade you receive in the class.  It should meet the following requirements:

  • Follow professional letter formatting
  • Be audience aware
  • Explicate your contribution to the class as a whole
  • Describe what you learned
  • Express your desired grade and the reason that you believe you deserve that grade

In case anyone missed my email:

As entrepreneurs you must always be ready to adapt to change. Today's class will challenge your flexibility, ingenuity and ability to use technology effectively. During our normal class time today, we will be meeting online.  Feel free to go to our usual location; however, I will not be there.  There is a chat box on the website in the upper right hand column, which you can use to communicate with me.  You may IM me personally via Jabber or Google Talk. You may also use ZohoChat. My username is catherineshuler@gmail.com.

In lieu of class today, we will be meeting early next week in your groups so that I can return and discuss your Marketing A & S documents.  I have blocked off some time.  Please visit the following link http://whenisgood.net/Te8xz3
and enter your times of availability as a group.  I will meet with each group in thirty minute time blocks.  If you cannot meet during any of the times listed, please contact me via email so that we can make other arrangements.
Once I have a schedule of meetings, I will contact you with the time and place of the meeting and with an agenda so that you can be prepared for our discussion.

Business plans will now be due on April 21 instead of the 14th to provide you with extra time to complete them.

Please email me with questions and/or contact me via chat.
