The business plan textbook that I chose for Allow Me was Your First Business Plan by Joseph Covello and Brian Hazelgren. This book is useful and I was attracted to it because the book was easy to read and concisely explained the process of writing a business plan for any size business. Also, the textbook provided information that helps a new business owner tailor their business plan to whatever style business they are starting and for Allow Me, that would be the party planning business.

After reading the article concerning ethics and rhetoric through visuals, I have gleaned that writers and producers of reading materials have the ability to distort images through the use of technology and editing which can subconsciously effect the readers understanding of the material before them. Writers and creators of this material may distort images on purpose or without thought, however, these changes can have varying levels of effect on how the material read is used or understood.

The top five people that i would choose would be Nikki Sticks, Ginger Soda, Student Halfway, Rolling Stone, and Kappa Gamma.

In response to the article, I think I will have to change some things on my own resume. The article was crude, but in a way that is helpful to myself and others in my position: struggling to find a career in one of the worst job markets in over twenty years. I had thought that my resume was substantial enough to pull me through the countless job fairs, but it's bland. No wonder I haven't recieved call backs from companies. They clearly found someone more exciting and intriguing to hire.

The pitches and individuals that I voted me persuaded me to vote for their ideas because I could relate to their ideas. It is much easier for me to vote for an idea that I agree with and have interest in because then in the future I will have motivation to apply for the positions that they list and work hard for them and their ideas.

Important skills for an entrepeneur are:

managing an organization

enduring long hours

supervising employees

persuading others

delegating responsibilities

The role of writing and persuasion is important for an entrepeneur. Any entrepeneur can relate their ideas and plans for a business but it is nescessary to have skill and tact when expressing ideas to others. An entrepeneur with refined writing and persuasion skills, in my opinion, will succeed amongst the rest. With correctness and skill, others will want to follow the entrepeneur with their plans. Persuasion is key when trying to lure investors and supporters to follow your ideas.
