Writing and persuasion are vital tools needed to become a successful enterpreneur. Being able to write effectively allows better communication between the entrepreneur and prospective investors. The ability to clearly state your goals for your company can give the entrepreneur an advantage over any competition he/she may encounter. Also being able to write effectively relates to persuasion.  An investor may consider your company over another because you clearly stated the how the company is going to operate and what it will take to successfully start that company. 

Although writing effectively relates to persuasion someone who is a poor writer should not be discouraged. They may be good speakers and can use that ability to persuade an investor to invest in their company through a presentation or an elevator pitch. 

I feel I am in the category of a poor writer so what I hope to achieve from this course is to gain the tools I need to state my objectives clearly and in detail for any business plan I write in the future.
