Writing and persuasion skills for an entrepreneur rank right up there with a good business idea.  A majority of entrepreneurs begin by sourcing venture capitalists to fund their business dreams.  Writing, through the business plan, and persuasion, through presentations, must be used effectively to convey your ideas and passion to the VC.    A VC that spoke to my entr201 class said he would rather see passion in a person over a great business idea. 

What am I looking for in this course? 420e is only my second English course at Purdue, the first being a required 100 level course.  I would like to see a focus on business writing.  Looking through the assignments I am excited to see the job description/application process assignment, I think there is a lot to learn about that process.  Expanding that to include interviews could be useful too.
