Role of Writing

The use of good writing and persuasion can help an entrepreneur stand out from others in his/her respective field.  Writing covers everything from business proposals to transaction documentation; which must be orderly and neat.  Prospective clients or customers will be analyzing paper work and writing of the company's history before doing business with an entrepreneur.  Entrepreneurs must also be able to persuade potential clients into believing the necessity of the product and its ability to be marketed.  Without writing and persuasion, there will be no sales. 

I have a good idea of the business I want to start after college.  However, I do not feel that my writing skills are adequate for a professional setting and I know that I could learn to be a little more persuasive.  Anything in these areas that I can improve on will make my chances of success higher.

I think this writer makes a great point when he/she writes, "Without writing and persuasion, there will be no sales." Although this may not be completely true, since some sales could happen simply because someone knows what they want and goes out to find it, for the most part this is very true. I do a lot of shopping online and realize the importance of writing and persuasion on online auctions. Without writing and persuasion people would never bid on an item; it would be unclear what the item being sold was and what its use was, as well as the reason people should buy that item over others listed. 

I think it's also true that good writing and persuasion skills can really help an entrepreneur to "stand out from others." This will set the seller and the product apart from others in the consumer's mind.
