This is the final project log for the class.  Our group presented our multimedia project on tuesday.  We also put some finishing touches on our project on tuesday to make it ready to turn in.  On thursday we are meeting at scotty's, which should be a lot of fun.

Project log for week 12: Group 1

This week, our group continued to finish up our white paper.  Some of the things that we worked on were adding an executive summary, adding our visuals, and adding a table of contents.  We also reviewed our paper to fix all of the grammatical errors.  In addition to our white paper, we started working on our documentation project.  Since the drive through marketing thing didn't work out, we are just using our persona's for the project.  We are each taking a section of Sosius to cover for the project and are going to put them all together to review as a whole.

Project log for week 11: Group 1

Our group met on Sunday, November 2 to continue working on the white paper project that was supposed to be due Thursday, November 6.  After the change of the due date, we decided to take the extra time we had and fix what needed to be fixed and also to add some more things that we had found.  After we get our rough draft back, we should have everything in order to make a nice final draft.

The science of a golf ball

Here is the link to my article:  The science of a golf ball

I thought this article was interesting because it tells how a golf ball reacts when it is hit by a golf club.  The harder a ball is, the further it goes.  The softer the ball is, the more control you have over where the ball will go.

I thought this article was well written and easy to understand.  The technology that it described was easy to understand and well formatted.

Project log for week 10: Group 1

This week, our group finished putting the rough draft of our white paper together to be ready to turn in on Thursday.  Our group sent their first draft to Andrew on Monday to be put together.  This allowed Andrew to write a conclusive summary on what all of us wrote.  On Tuesday, we discussed what else our paper needed.  We decided to fix each of our parts to make our paper more directive and also to include more visuals to our paper.  Using Sosius, each of us fixed our parts and uploaded the new file on our Sosius workspace.  This was completed on Wednesday.&n

Project log for week 9: Group 1

This week, our group chose the most important sources that we had found and created an annotated bibliography.  All of our work was basically divided up the same.  We split the nine sources up so that each person worked on two, except for one person worked on three.  Another person was in charge of the introduction in addition to their two sources and another person was in charge of putting the annotated bibliography together in addition to their two sources.  This seemed like a logical way to split up the responsibilities and worked rather well.

Invention of the year

Invention Of the Year:  The iPhone

This article talks about why the iPhone is the best invention of the year.  The author does a really good job at explaining everything you can do with the iPhone.  This article is less of a technical article and more like an overview of the iPhone and why it is the best.  Either way it is still a good article.
