English 421: Technical Writing

This week our group got together monday to do the multimedia presentation to turn in for tuesday.  To our suprise there was an actual presentation the next day, anyway, thats the week, other than scottys tomorrow!

Last week we did not have class on tuesday, so nothing got done...  Thursday was basically a talk session over what we were planning on doing for the multimedia presentation that was done on monday of this week.

Change of pace this week for the article, instead of a white paper, usability, or even a technical article for that matter i found a off the wall article.  What would you do if you had a wasp issue at home?  This guy made a homemade vaccuum that sucked the wasps out of thier hole that they were using to enter/exit the house.  Pretty ingenious considering a vaccuum cleaner wouldnt work(so he says).  Anyway, hope this is a decent change of pace for everyone!

This week i sat at home for Tuesdays class since it was cancelled.  Thursday i helped my group come up with usability tests for the project.  There will be 2 sets of questions for the group, since we are doing two programs we need to know which one suits them better. That is where the first set of questions comes in.  Thats all for now folks!

Last week i turned in my individual white paper portion for OfficeZilla on tuesday. Since this is a group effort i got with the group on wednesday to fix the annotated bib and assemble the white paper.  Thursday the collaborative white paper was turned in for review. 

White paper rough draft, minus illustrations.

During week 9 our group made a annotated bibliography from 9 of the links we researched for information on.  I used 2 out of the 6 links that i had researched.  After that I started on the rough draft of my portion of the white paper.  I am currently looking over the first five tabs of OfficeZilla and finding what they do and how they help the program.  Rough draft completed.
