POW!!! Right in the kisser! POW!!! Right in the kisser!

With busy schedules and the technology of today, sometimes it is just easier to do things online.  Responding online versus responding in person has is benefits and draw backs.  The benefit of it is that there is no time conflicts and it is just easier to do.  The person responding can take their time and formulate a good response in order to get the most benefit of it.  One major drawback is that it is hard to make responses seem genuine.  Without the benefit of hearing the person responding and hearing the inflection of their voice, or the gestures they make, some things that are said may come across as downright mean or rude.

Responding in person has many things that can't be done online.  Face-to-face meetings gives both parties the ability to have immediate feedback from one another.  Meeting in person also has a more personal appeal to it.  Critiques that are made won't come across as mean or rude because there can be more elaboration on what the responder is trying to say.

Both ways of responding are very good, but to do it properly, they are both pretty much necessary to give a good response and to get a good feel of how to respond.
