English 421: Technical Writing

 Project Log- Cranky Curmudgeons Week 9

In this class period, we put our annotated bibliography together.  Everyone came to class with their bibliography prepared and on time, making it very easy to combine everyone's individual contribution to create our group bibliography.  With this out of the way, we began to divide our paper into the portions which each group member will be responsible for writing.  Pat Lewis is in charge of writing the portion of the paper which covers all online collaboration websites and how they fit into the business environment and I am doing the introduction, conclusion, and the transitions between everyone's portion.  Kevin, Andrew, and Dylan are splitting up talking about the specific features of the sites that we are focusing on and comparing and contrasting them.  Andrew is handling the communication aspect of the sites, such as the contact info, availability of blogs and emails, chat rooms, etc.  Dylan is discussing the project management part of the sites, including scheduling, database creation, file sharing, and deadlines.  Kevin is going to focus more in depth on file management across the site as well as the Wiki section and other features which are unique to the 2 sites.  Overall, it is split pretty evenly and should be relatively easy to combine at the end.
