 Ten Future Web Trends

I chose this article because I believe it can loosely be related to the white paper projects in that it is a prediction and summation of all of the new technologies that will be available on the web and for each of these new ideas people will need to be made privy on their functionality or they will never make it off the ground.  I think this is a very important article since the web is practically limitless in the possibilities that can serve it's end users.  As time goes by and technology becomes more and more advanced the web will evolve into something that serves us in a way that is not even imaginable now.  With the advent of IPv6 and the future in Web 3.0 the web will become more and more interactive and advanced.  Google really set the bar for search algorithms but as you can see with the tools being more advanced more companies are coming up to rival google.

One of the things talked about in this article, Semantic web, I had never really heard too much about but I guess if Tim Berners-Lee was talking about it, it must be a pretty BIG deal. The semantic web deals with computers being able to reuse data that they acquire from talking to other machines about all of the information on the web. It was extremely confusing but it sounded important.
