English 421: Technical Writing

This week was a relatively slow week for the white paper project as we were waiting for the return of our rough draft.  Today in class we divided up the portion of the executive summary which we will complete by Monday night so that I can combine them for class on Tuesday.  The only revisions not addressed in our meeting or previously were addition of a table of contents and correction of grammatical errors.

We also began working on our usability project this week.  Tuesday we created two personas to assist the develop of our documentation.  Today we divided up the responsibilities for the documentation we need to create so our users can utilize Sosius effectively.  Each person was given a part of the application (e.g. uploading and managing files) to create a section of documentation for.  We decided to have these prepared by next Thursday in class in order to have a rough draft for the following Tuesday.
